As thrilling as it is, Maestro Bernard presents ‘InsideOut’ as a carefully crafted experience for its target audiences. For each program, he typically creates one family-friendly event (including abbreviated musical works with explanations geared towards children, followed by an instrument zoo so that younger audience-members not only experience music making from within an ensemble, but also actually try the instruments) and one full concert experience (with complete musical works, interspersed with introduction and explanations tailored to the InsideOut format).

What the insideout package includes
THE FAMILY EXPERIENCE (approx. 1 hour) Excerpts from great classical works, presented ‘InsideOut’ (audience seated within the orchestra) with explanations and activities geared to families including young children. Can also include a post-concert-event Instrument Zoo.
THE FULL INSIDEOUT EXPERIENCE (approx. 90 mins plus interval – timing adjustable) Complete classical masterpieces presented ‘InsideOut’ (audience seated within the orchestra) with explanations and activities geared to enhance an adult audience’s understanding and experience of the music and the way the orchestra works.
